I have a special interest in creating photographs with the goal of sharing my emotive experience with others. My subjects include landscapes, architecture, historic structures, people, nature, interesting places and events. Many of my photographs are made in my day-to-day journeys in and around the Kansas City area, as well as more extensive travels across Kansas, Missouri, the Midwest and beyond. My photography reflects my visual experiences, and sometimes an imagination, for subtle details in perspective, color, composition and light. I strive to encompass key moments and visual images that tell a story or convey an emotion through my lens. I am also on a path to develop more artful and technical skills in abstract, fine art and portraiture photography.

My process is best described as organic, as my motivation typically starts with a vision in my mind that I'm driven to capture through my camera lens. I can't remember exactly when I first started seeing my journey through life as a series of film strips, but, I believe it's been at least since my early twenties.

You may order my photography prints directly from this web-site with many custom options available including canvas, metal, matting and frames.
